Who Are We? The philosophical and existential issues aside, we are a group of Christians who have grown weary of church as usual and are hungry for more of the reality of who God really is. We are not satisfied with simply living "good" lives and going to church. We believe that God is the Creator of the Universe and we want to know this Almighty Being in a dynamic, relational, and intimate fashion. We are orthodox in our Christian beliefs, but very un-orthodox in our practice of spirituality and Christianity. We believe the Apostle's Creed. We also believe in the power of God to transform and heal persons in every dimension of existence. We believe that Jesus Christ is God and that he sacrificed His life so we can have life. We believe Jesus rose bodily from the dead, tore to curtain to the Holy of Holies in half, and now offers all who are thirsty the water of life, mercy, grace, and real love. We understand God as the one who is imminent, who is near to all who look for Him and we value His Presence above all. The Presence of God is not a concept or a theological understanding, He is felt and experienced, His voice can be heard and His nature can be known. Encountering God is transformational and powerful, drawing us further and further into His eternal Kingdom. The Kingdom of God is not somewhere on the other side of the Universe, it is meant to be present with us, experienced in the here and now. We are committed to doing the things that Jesus did, which is the bringing of the Kingdom to the earth through the exercise of the spiritual gifts of healing, prophetic and revelatory gifts, and love. We value revelation of God above mere knowledge about God, and experiencing the love of God above simply having a theological understanding of God's love. We know through personal experience that all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit are meant for today and are necessary for growth, spiritual development and for the advancement of the Kingdom of God on the Earth.
